kobidog 1
Im just starting decoying and im going to buy some decoys, on lots of websites they recommend flocked decoys which are twice the price of normal ones so are they worth it?or will i do just as well with normal decoys? Also are 12 decoys enough or should i buy some more? rizla1 122
got some flocked and normal crow decoys and the flocked do look better, and 12 decoys should be plenty Quote Link to post
DERBOY 18
A dozen is enough, you can add as you go on . but don,t buy from DECOYING UK , PEOPLE BEING RIPPED OF . Quote Link to post
stubby 175
buy what you can afford, I have the standard plastic shells on bouncy sticks, yes flocked are better, but plastic still work, sometimes a little shiney when rained on, also get yourself a packet of BBQ skewers, as you shoot pigeons, simply add them into your decoy pattern, stick into the ground and head pushed onto stick, dead birds displayed correctly, bring them in better than anything Quote Link to post
Sidelock 10
Must agree with Sir Stubby, dead is best, best bit of kit i have are my craddles, do a good job with both dead pigeon and crow, if you must spend on gadgets get a flapper ( with a dead on board ) Quote Link to post
