Am sure if merle took his dog out it wouldn't refuse to run he just chooses not to run an 99% of us agree with him. My dogs will run werever aim the lamp regardless of the conditions it's me that decides where an when but I just wouldn't risk ripped pads knocked up toes for the sake of being impatient. . All the best SHanded. .

your missing the point that i am trying to get across,or maybe i am wording it wrong,

i am not telling anybody to run there dogs in a -4,

what i am saying is dont mug off the lads that have dogs that can run in any condition.

I dont see what anybody would GAIN from having a dog that can run in ANY CONDITIONS in the UK. . . So why would i MUG anyone off??. We are in the UK NOT THE NORTH POLE. .

All the Best. . SHanded. .

thers not a person on this site that wouldnt like a dog that could run in any condition on any ground,SO WHAT YOU HAVE SAID IS TOTALLY WRONG

My parents have a BOXER that can run in any conditions but i wouldnt take that lampin. Anyone can keep dogs that can run in any conditions but to keep these dogs would be stupid in the UK as they lose the abilitys to catch hare, rabbit, fox, deer. Just admit the people sayin (WE LAMP ARE DOGS IN ANY CONDITIONS) Are just after a pat on the back sayin well in for gettin dogs out. Well i wont say that because people keepin running dogs WILL NOT RUN ON A SOLID GROUND. There for use are the ones lookin like CLOWNS. .

An before you start on me here is a picture from last year when the snow an frost came.

But snow had abit of give in it. So dont get on my back thinkin am making EXCUSES not to get out because you lot couldnt be more WRONG...

All the best SHanded. . Shot an retrieved. . Before use start. .

your saying the malamute x are slow no good for rabbit hare fox or anthing else with a bit of speed ,your a clever bloke you know what you are talking about ,

Well ill be honest i know alot of lads with working dogs an i dont know ONE That OWNS a MALAMUTE X. So that alone says enough for me about that x. But hey its horses for courses if your happy then thats all that matters. .

im not on about if there any good or not ,you said only slow dogs can run on frozen ground with out hurting their feet ,malamute xs are shit, but i tried,i like the person im arguing with to have some idea what he,s on about

Why who are you argueing with??. . Well slower dogs have got less chance than a fast agile dog. . Not to sure where your goin with this. .:blink: What is it exactly i know nothin about??

This is a few questions these lads with lurcher's with unbreakable feet....

What Tally's do you get when its -4 hard frost, full moon,no wind and the snow is reflecting the moon light and the beam?

How do your dogs negotiate hidden dangers that lie beneath the snow such as rocks, ruts, roots and maybe animal troff's?

What type of lurcher's do you run??

Do you apply specialist conditioning to gain stronger joints-tendons-pads??

Cheers

Its funny how its the coldest November on record bt these guys think it the norm that they have to run there dogs on this ground :whistling: .

Flint.... you could earn some good money pulling the kiddies around in there sledges in the park with the old 90lb ice muching beast, .

I bet you pray for snow so that it slows the game down enough for your dog to get anywhere near :tongue2: ,,,,,mushshshshshshshhhhhhh. :wallbash: .

my dogs too little and dainty for any of this heavy ground..she,d snap in half.
