robo-christ 40
if so has anyone ever got past it? i was speaking to a mate today about the best way to keep his lurchers safe from theives,he was saying if someone wants them bad enough they will get them. now aside from shooting it (with a a silent weapon because otherwise i'd hear it) how do you get past a well trained guard dog? even if you had a machete i wouldnt fancy your chances against on of these
robo-christ 40
not saying those were well trained btw but if they won't accept food off strangers how would you get around them?

"Earth!" 503
Geese. Motherfuckers that they are, they make GREAT guards. not a great idea leading up to xmas though gineau fowl are better that geese as an alarm bird, noisey b*****d things but good eating also
bird 9,947
all they would do is posion the dog, just through a piece of raw meat, . The only way they are any good is with there onwer there, if left loose on there own, they would get in no prob. The best guard dog is a GSD, as they will frighten most of joe-public, and they make right noise. Try going on a farm with one loose or a collie, if they dont bite you, they will let everybody no you are there fact
robo-christ 40
a dog can be conditioned not to take food from anywhere but its bowl,my own lurcher pup does this naturally. you could taze it but it would scream like a banshee and you'd know something was going on,so really aside from shooting from a safe distance (where it won't hear you and bark) I cant think of any way to get past it without at least someone hearing.
