Just been flicking through some old CMW papers and looking through classifieds.

 

Came across this litter...

 

Sire - Saluki/Whippet/Grey, Long ear dog pre ban.

 

Dam - Bull/Grey x Collie Grey, Excellent Daytime and lamp dog, took big stuff pre ban.

 

Sounds like a handy cross? My pup is similar way bred as the sire and wouldn't mind putting him over a similar bitch one day if he turns out a gooden.

 

What do you think this cross could produce and turn out like? What good and bad qualities could be there?

its what alot of people would call a lurcher x lurcher and half the time thery turn out very handy

I'm all for worker x worker, its the way to go. But alot of people just say "its lurcher x lurcher" and thats fine if that suits them but I like to know whats in my dog, not fractions and percentages but just an idea of what it's made up of.

 

I like the saluki/whip/grey, ive got one. Ive always considered adding some collie blood to this type of dog. Maybe a dash of bull blood would also be beneficial.

I have a pup from the same litter as yours and a saluki grey cross dog but I agree with you I want a nice follies shipper grey dog put over my bitch.

What is a follies shipper dog? Is that a line of collie greys?
