How does this work??

 

I was refused my SGC last December but I was pulled over by the police today for a routine traffic check and it flagged back that I am a SGC holder... Whats that all about??

Ring your local fire arms department and ask them.

I think it is more likely that there is a record of the refusal on PNC. Not showing you are a holder but that you have had it refused.

They never asked for my reg on my sgc app?? Or does it go on the registered driver?

It's not on the vehicle it's on the person details

Yes it's on the individuals record not the vehicle. I drive a car owned by my company and got a pull early morning last week routine check. He radioed in to find out if I was an insured driver of the vehicle next thing within seconds radio comes back with my name and address and I held two licences for fire arms.

When you applied for your sgc certificate,you would have been allocated a number which would be put on your file/record,so even if you are refused it will still show the number on your details,as it will stay there.

My FEO was telling me the last time I spoke to him, that if you are refused a FAC/SGC then it will remain on your record until after your 100th Birthday.
