Out beating today,having a laugh and exercising my terriers enjoying life in general when the keeper lost his black bitch in a wood,thought to be to ground.We finished the drive whilst one of the lads waited on top of a fairly large place,well over a dozen holes.After 20 minutes and no show i was asked if i would mind trying to find the bitch with my dogs while they carried on

 

Oh go on then i said, i'll take one for the team :whistle: and shot back to the yard for my truck and clobber.

Got to the earth,netted up, collared my little black bitch,checked my steam powered mk1 deben gear worked and let her go.

 

I got marks all over the place but nothing steady and only the odd wimper, the keepers terrier showed at a net and then disapeared again before i could collar her.A further 15 minutes and the dog fox hit a net, closely followed by my bitch and a minute later the other terrier

After dispatching the fox, the terriers were allowed a rag and as i didn't want to interupt the next drive i made my way back to the yard for tea and medals :whistle:

 

Not a bad day i thought,walk the dogs,bit of terrier work and getting paid for it as well

 

Thought i'd treat myself to a tinnie or two on the way home and even got £10 more in change from the nice lady in Tesco's

 

To top it all off i got my F&MWTC Video back at last,Jaeger Schnitzel for tea and trifle for afters............................Oh yes and there'e that ale to go at as well

 

And if i could find a way to reduce the size of the picture i would put that on aswell
