Phantom 631
Well, I was bored and though, we've done to hell and back the guns, time and again, so figured I'd do something a little different Last couple of years I've gone through three different knives for one reason or another Here is my Whitby that I lost a month or so back. Not the most expensive, but damn it was a slick one to use and after Scuba1 sharpened it for me it never needed doing again It had a super sharp point and was soooooo easy to use for gutting and skinning. Here is my newest knife. Its a replacement for my lost Whitby its a little stiffer when it comes to opening, but still one handed opening and closing. Again rediculously sharp point but the edge needs a little working on for razor sharp! Pretty easy to use one handed while holding a bunny with the other hand. Eventually I will order one of Scuba1's knives; custom designed by me and crafted by hand from the steel blank to the sharpest edge and and well worth the money. Phantom 2 Quote Link to post

ArchieHood 3,692
Heres a couple that I regularly use............. This one I bought in Istanbul, caught my eye and cost about £2. This one I made myself out of scraps ,Diamond blade, oak window board and brazing rods for pins, the insert is a bit of antler I had.Nothing like Robs masterpieces but a functional blade never the less.(If forced to I would swap for the Damascus). Good post Phantom SPA Quote Link to post

gurtwurz 792
heres mine then, although not as good looking as robs(or made by me!) top un'll be recognised by all you forces fellas, british standard treebeater used on survival courses in place of an axe(and cos it feels more rambo than ray mears ) middles my 'general purpose-get smashed about all over the place-workhorse' falkniven F1(bloody brilliant all rounder blade) bottom is a spiderco which is what i take hunting and what the missus steals for breasting pheasants(thats not a euphemism by the way), another good tool that does all required of it in the field cheers, wurz Quote Link to post

gurtwurz 792
thats a nice 'un rob, one of your own handles i take it? sadly, there no point in me spending on nice wood cos mine all take such a battering that a beautifully crafted one would be trashed in no time, be like spraying a tash on the mona lisa!! otherwise, i have to say, i'd be biting your hand off for a couple of yours, i really like the lines and finish of yours mate , but as i say, they'd be wasted on me cheers, wurz Quote Link to post
spike25blue 55
It is handles I've done buddy all the handles are made are from hardwood horn or bone so can take quite a knock about The black handles are buffalo horn Also do make them with antler aswell Atb rob Quote Link to post
