Hard as Nails, coat like a grizzly bear and mustard on fox though she was very hard mouthed on rabbits. Type of dog you could take anywhere for a bit of sport without attracting attention. She lived to be 17 and was one of the best dogs I ever had, Got to agree about some of the current show strains of today too many faults to seriously consider as a breeding line imo.Katie aged about 14........ Have sold a lot of pups over the years quite a lot go to farms as workers for sheep cattle and guarding,one old boy come from Bala about eight years ago bought a pup to replaced one he just lost that was rough coated picked it up as a stray ,He says it would stay out all night with the flock lambing outside in tempratures of minus 5 in the four years he had him never lost a lamb to fox or anything else yet neighbours were loosing quite heavilly to foxes Quote Link to post
