It's an interesting thought  Heres one of my Shepherds, he's coming up to three and weighs about 60lb's, not a critisism but your bitch does look heavy framed.

She looks a very nice GSD, my sort of type, looks very big boned, What lines is she?

As far as breeding lurchers, I do agree that Simomans dog does look abit more suitable, but you should give it ago if thats what you want.

Simoman, do you do any work with yours? (Schutzhund, personal protection etc?)

we dont know anythink about her past

she was given to use from a family member who got her from a farm. the bloke on there used to beat her to try and make her nasty but it had the reverse effect on her. the wanker was going to put a bullet in her head so thats how we got her. she was a very very timid dog at first, if anyone walked into the room she would crouch down onto the floor and look away.... after a good few years she is now a good dog and very protective over me.

im going to try and get her fit and then get some pics up in the future

cheers

I have the sire to the dog in the photo, hes from Belgian schutzhund imports, I qualified him in Working Trials but retired him after he damaged his cruciate ligament and I didn't want to keep putting him over 6ft jumps and 9ft long jumps. He is a very hard dog and has sired several working dogs, police, security and working trials. I kept back a pup to work for trials but got back into hunting so he has the odd trip out. Training for me used to be almost every night and with a young family I don't have the time and would rather go out with a dog or gun.

I think a 3/4 cross sounds like an interesting mix. Its funny but my dog has a thing for hares. If you are going to breed you should get her hip scored

Nice Type bitch WH you need what needs to be done before you even contemplate breeding her first of all get her fit,Then get her hips checked, unfortunately you do not know her parents I go back as far as I can before contemplating breeding.

It is great to see good working shephards not sloping back orange coloured skinny boned show champions if you looking for hip displacia start there.

Just weighed our pups and they are coming in at two kilos at Two weeks Two are booked already with a possible third.
