I would train them like your springers, with a bit of luck no gun will be needed, cracking looking pups keep us all updated on how there going

i am a firm believer in its how you bring them up they aint going to be top fen dogs but for moochin about with they should make good little dogs like you say you want them for ferreting training a lurcher aint much different to any other dog just gotta train them different things to spaniels let us know how you get on with them all the best but you will get people saying that there no good cos that x aint bin about for years just have faith and stick with it should make fast clever dogs with a good retrieve (on paper) i have just got/rescued 2 grey pointer bull x saluki bull grey and yours look in alot better nick than these 2 never sin a wormer they where covered in shit but i dont care what people say about certain xs once upon a time i dint salukis or bull xs but i got a proper good saluki bull grey dog here dont think i would ever judge a breed again there is good and bad in them all

Interesting x you've gone for there fella they may be more apt at ferreting than lamping but I've heard of much stranger x's making the grade.At least you've got experience of training dogs on your side so thats a start.

Good luck with yer pups, mate. They're smart looking little dogs. I'll be interested in seeing how you go with them.

As an ex pig hunter in Oz, I used labrador crosses quite a few times over the years. Fila/lab, greyhound/bull/lab and EBT/lab to name 3. These three all made the grade.

I know someone who had a bull/grey x spaniel/grey, and it was a good hunter and ferreting dog. hope they turn out good for you
