The number of times I've had to chase a young dog around when it's gone off after other dogs is amazing. She'll start to hang closer to you at around the year, 14 month stage, in my experience. I think we have all been there.It,s just a pup being a pup.They have to investgate every thing.They will run after any thing that move,s.Child /dog someone walking by/bird /even a leave blowing in the wind.It drive you nut,s.You can shout to your blue in the face but the little fecker will keep playing.Run by you.Stop a good few yard,s away.Then do it all again.I dont let them off the lead untill i am well away from the public.That way thay pay more attention to me.One big field with me and the dog it tends to focus more on me.
