caterpiller 10
As people have already stated.... Just because its all kicked out and shite everywhere doesnt mean anything is at home... THIS IS WHERE A GOOD MARKING DOG IS WORTH ITS OWN WEIGHT IN GOLD Had a few hours out on Saturday morning Ferreting a little ditch. We parked the Car up in the Farm Yard and as we got through the gate the Dog gave a good solid mark under a Water Trough.... There was only 1 little hole and the 1st thing that sprung to mind was the Dog must be marking a Rat ???? Dropped a little Jill into the Hole and within seconds it sounded like an earthquake was going on before a Rabbit tried to squeeze through the hole...... Have had Rabbits from some very odd places over the years..... variety is the spice of life as they say Happy Ferreting Quote Link to post
stubby 175
notice you said "dropped A ferret in" meaning just one? Id say, hit it again, take others with you if you only own one ferret, and get 3 or 4 down there, remember rabbits know the warren better than any ferret, and although a single fert will bolt rabbits, Ive always found "panic" works best, drop a few down and rabbits $hite themselves I stated in an earlier post how Id put two jills down a 6 holer and NOTHING!! yet Id then put a big hob down and bolted 3, so the above dos'ent always work Quote Link to post
