friday night foxing

me and my mate decided to go out laming on friday even thro the weather was crap full moon dead still and foggy so off we went just up to my local farm lamping out of the van we drove the full stretch of permission not a glimpse of any thing so we decided to turn round and drive it again about three fields in my mate told me to stop in a panic he had seen a fox close in sitting about 65 yards away right tight in on the dyke edge so i pulled over grabbed the tikka out of the back and slipped over the gate my mate changed from the blitz to his striker so that we didnt scare the fox i gave him the nod and he he shone it up just as it looked up it took my home loaded round sraight between the eyes which left it slumped up against a fence post i went and collected charlie and it was a decent vixen cub from last year i would have thought alot heavier than it looked so even with the bad conditions we had decent night i will try and get some photos on to show you the kill
