Once again people are saying i would do this,i would never get rid of my dogs blah, blah ,blah

I dont know this fella, but whats he done wrong tried to pass on a yearling dog hes trained and fed but unfortunatly has to get rid of due to a change of circumstances and hes trying to do it on a HUNTING FORUM, oh the shame of it who would make such a ridiculous assumtion that somone on a hunting forum might want to take on a lurcher which is "coming along nicely" jeeeesusss christ ive heard it all now ,

You think there would be a que of people finding out what the dog is like what its done rather than jumping on the bandwagon bunch of keyboard bitches.

its probabley due to the fact most people on here dont even own a fukin dog let alone hunt with one.

If i could help you mate i would ,but im in a similar situation, struggling to house them while i work away I know what a pain it is dont listen to these self riotous mugs.

Can you not kennel your pup outside while you are not home? While you are staying away somewhere could your wife not feed it and take it for a quick walk of a morning and evening? I work from 8-5, som

I have to travel for work and sometimes stay away over night. I have three dogs. I've kitted out an LDV convoy with a comfortable double bed, cooker and loo. I take my dogs with me wherever I go, walk them morning and evening and pop them out in my lunch break. They have the comfort of the van while I'm working. It works out fine. Sometimes whoever employs me will pay for a hotel. All travellodges accept dogs so on those occasions we all stay in the hotel. I've never had a problem, my dogs and I have a strong bond because we're together most of the time, they get the interest of being exercised in a variety of environments and I get the pleasure if walking my dogs every day wherever I am.

FAMILYS THE BE ALL AND END ALL GET RID TO MUCH HASELL YOU CAN ALWAYS GO TO B/N/Q AND BY ANOTHER HAMMER .MONEY AND FAMILY FIRST DOGS ARE JUST TOOLS OF THE TRADE.YOU N2VER NOW WHEN YOULL CHANGE YOUR TRADE .

Maybe to you but not to everyone. Tools can be replaced no problem, they are all the same, but the years of work and training you put into a dog are priceless. I suppose it depends what you want your dogs for, if your standards are low, or you only use a dog as a point and slip so dont need them trained then maybe they can be replaced but thats not dogwork to me.

ALRIGHT MATE HES BETTER MOVEING THE DOG ON WHEN ITS A PUP THAN WAITING 6MTH THEN DOING IT.ONCES HES INTO WORK HIS CICUMSTANCES MIGHT BE DIFFERENT.THATS WHAT I MEANT.AND FAMILY ALWAYS COMES FIRST.LATER.

what would happin if you had to work away and had no one to look after them, then what :whistling:

I wouldn't work away simples!! If i had to the dogs would have to come with me, i'd have to get a bigger vehicle but i wouldn't care, failing that i'd put them into boarding kennels when i had to work away, there's ways around it, dogs just aren't replaceable!!
