skycat 6,173 Posted November 21, 2010 Report Share Posted November 21, 2010 I've had the odd rabbit with bright yellow fat, and from the same warren as rabbits with normal white fat. I thought it was something to do with what the rabbit had eaten, but I don't think it can be: anyone else got any ideas. They taste just the same as white fat rabbits by the way. Quote Link to post
stroller 341 Posted November 21, 2010 Report Share Posted November 21, 2010 i caught and gutted a rabbit this morning with loads of white fat the most ive ever seen on a rabbit. it also had had its ears bitten off probably by its mother when a kit. but maybe it was a really fat rabbit because it comfort ate because the other rabbits laughed at its stumpy ears??
