Thanks for the info! Gutted, I really wanted one. It's just not practical to import from the US, due to quarantine being 6 months, the dog would be close to a year

I've been search for a breeder for ages, I might look at importing a bitch from the US, if I am reading DEFRA correctly the six months might not apply if the I can provide a Rabies card (?)

youd be better doing it on the pet passport system, if started early enough you can get the pup over at 10 months, and much much kinder than the dreaded quarantine system.

Thanks for that, I will get a copy to watch tonight. Hopefully it will charm Mrs HZ in to letting me invest the cash Just hope dogs from the US can understand the welsh accent

Great movie! I'll throw my op. in. Why? if you plan to hunt it they are as a breed low in on the ladder here and I have coons. If you want a pet get a lab lol. For a hunting hound a few other breeds I would look into before you drop the $$$$
