swiftnbold 4
Was at my local RFD's earlier, needed to stock up on my .22 H&N FTT. The girl handed me this bluey-grey tin and i said "no .22 please" (the .177 is in a blue & silver tin the .22 in a blue & green tin. She pointed out they are the .22 so I just thought they had changed their packaging. The other thing was I was sure I paid under £10 last time - these were £10.59. Anyway I got them home and on opening them found that they had a sheen & shine on them, picking them up I found them already lubed. Put a few dozen through the breech (they were a bit tighter fitting than normal) and I can tell you they were very, very accurate. The only pictures I can find of the tin on the web are from the States. Are they new or just a batch my RFD's got hold of? Very impressed. jasper65 6
Interesting stuff SnB! I'm now coming to the end of my Blue/Silver .177 batch. it will be interesting to see if the .177's have also changed. I swear by the FTT's in my Air Ranger! if these are a update of the old FTT's and they're performing aswel as you witnessed then I'll be one happy chappy . Jasp Quote Link to post

RAMCAM 4
Hi Swiftnbold They are not the same as the old H&N. They are made from a special alloy and lubricated for a lower rate lead fouling and consistant shot spread. They design their own machines and each batch of 50000 pellets go through a strict quality control and inspect them under a microscope. They also have a machine that checks each individual pellet dimension. Quote Link to post
dillan 19
Used these for sometime now, very good accurate pellet, gunshop owners tell me they built the HW 100 around this pellet Dillan Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
Well, I have two lovely HW80.22 rifles called "Major Konig und Major Torwald" (after two legendary German snipers in WW2) and this pellet has proved itself time and time again with these rifles. I always thoroughly wash them and lube them with WD40. They perform and that does it for me! If you shoot a Weihrauch springer or PCP, chances are this pellet is the one for your gun Simon Edited November 21, 2010 by pianoman Quote Link to post
jasper65 6
Have to say Guys the Field Target Trophy's have been a revelation in this gun! I picked up 5 Tins beginning of the year somtime from Uttings and now on my last tin, I tried all sorts out of this gun but the grouping always seems better with the FTT's, not sure if its because they are slightly heavier but the gun loves them! having said that I have only shot 1 Pigeon in the last 3 weeks but thats down to me not getting out . Just out of interest are these new FTT's available in .177? I looked all over the net for some different tins but couldn't find any? Jasp Quote Link to post
owen vining 5
I've started using H&N for HFT comps but someone said to try crossman's premier they are super accurate my HW100 loves them. Just recently i bought about 5 or 6 different types of pellets, AA field, AA Hunter just to mention a few and did a accuracy test at different ranges and different air pressures and the crossman's premier came out top. They're well worth a go. mark vining Quote Link to post
