Ha yeah use a crap phone lol. It is very accurate. I used it on my sons phone and could see exactly where he was on the maps street level. He always wondered how I knew he was at his friends house instead of on the train coming home :whistling:

does it still work if the phone loses signal.

No but it works like a text, it will keep repeating the signal until it bounces back at regular intervals.

This is the time of year that criminals will be on the look out for those vehicles which are not alarmed and are unlocked. Espeacially on farm yards and rural areas. Mainly 4x4's are the targets. How many de-frost their cars on the drive whilst having a cup of tea in the house? How many just nip into the shop and leave their vehicle unlocked and sometimes still running?

I have just had both my vehicles fitted with trackers. They do work and are detected within several minutes. I'm afraid that those days of locks and alarms are not enough to prevent the criminals from taking your vehicle. The trackers are monitored 24hours, and if your vehicle was to be taken then all the appropriate agencies will be aware instantly and locate your vehicle asap. Also the other benefit of having a tracker is that you can get discount on your insurance.

Stay safe people.

:victory:

I had to have a tracker on my last motor or no-one would insure it, but i wouldn't bother for the 'aul 4x4 i have now. Although you are right about theives being active, because some tosspot tried to nick my front wheels last week. I'm presuming they cracked the nuts loose, then got to the locking nut so thought " feck it " and gave up.

Bloody wheels nearly fell off on my way home.
