gurtwurz 792
hiya lads, well i thought it was about time i took the '95 out this morning, even though i'm not shooting it well enough to go beyond 35m yet i thought a bit of squizzer bashing and a bit of pigeon silhouette shooting would keep well within this moderate distance, so i popped up the farm for a mooch and found some dozy pigeons before sun up, and took a nice easy 20m max shot and brought down a woodie, which was nice, and chucked it in the bag before heading up a ride to find a squizzer... found a couple of tree rats that refused to stop for love, money, squeaks or clicks of the tongue and finally followed an unassuming little fella for about a 100m up a different ride til he stopped to enjoy an grounded acorn in 'squirrel nutkin' pose at which point an air arms field diablo stopped his farting in the drey for good... all in all, my usual small bag, but a highly enjoyable couple of hours chilling out in the country, which for me at least,is what its all about... i didnt take a photo of the woody til i got home, but it wasnt too bad a shot when i did and a piccy of the rifle, with super moonlighter scope on(sorry buster!!), i'm very happy with this rig, the scope balances the gun really well, and makes me feel all john darling(albeit with a smaller bodycount... cheers all, wurz 6 Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,589
Hi Wurz. SPA from me for hunting with a lovely Weihrauch 95k, and in the spirit of the late, great JD. It was his writing on air rifle hunting with a Weihrauch HW35E and the HW80 that got me hooked on shooting with this magnificent manufacturer's guns. Great write up and shooting of your own here mate. ATB Simon Quote Link to post
