Davidh 5
I found this on you tube, anyone any idea when it was filmed? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9p8FDbiDAM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFw3QNx6aKQ&feature=related I have got the video of this. It was part of a series called "Jack's Game". It was a series of films covering all aspects of country sports, pheasant shooting, wildfowling, pigeon shooting and foxhunting, I ave probably forgotten some tittles. I think it was filmed sometime in the eighties. And I do remember the original ITV series. Edited November 19, 2010 by Davidh Quote Link to post

Blue one 89
That brings back some memorys for me, it was 1982 and 2 decent gents, Ken griifits and Jim Walsh. I remember when it first came on the tv, i was waiting all day for it and recorded the program with a video recorder, the old betamax tapes that i had as a lad back then.. I believe ken, has died now, not sure about the other chap, Jim walsh. The whole series was called 'Jacks Game'. Them were the days, sadly missed.. Quote Link to post

Dont know where in yorkshire they were from, the first time i seen the documentry, was back then in 82, on tv and watched it 100's of times after, on video... I was into ferreting big time then and still am, not as much as i was, as more into the running dogs these days. Great to see again and have now added it to my favorites. Quote Link to post

neil cooney 10,416
I think you could still buy the Jacks Games videos up untill recently. Back then it was great for fieldsport to see a respected celebrity doing this series but if I remember correctly there was uproar from the Anti scum when a second one had to be put into a stag that he shot. He didn't do foxhunting as he couldn't ride but he did do beagling and minkhunting. There was a book on the series too. Just out of interest? Any one remember Out Of Town with Jack Hargreaves on a Saturday morning? He did a show on 2 lads bolting rabbits to 2 whippet/terrier crosses with ferrets. I remember it well. Quote Link to post
