hard nights lamping

Recommended Posts

why feed your dog when it gets back from a hard nights work would you run a marathon on an empty stomach

if more than a hour running.?

 , the day i go lamping, i feed the dog a light meal(sardines+ cup of meal) 4pm. So when go lamping say 12 pm its got something to give it (more ) energy. plus put electrolyte in the water, (working+home.)

i think if youve got to put electrolyte or any other supplements in the water before a dog goes out then theres something wrong with the dog as a good healthy dog shouldnt need any extra supplements before hand

i take the water+ elect mix to give as drink when the dog needs it, and after 20-30 runs most dogs would.? And the light meal gives the energy to do that kind of work. And my dog is a fit dog that as done alot of hard nights lamping for a 3 year old dog, and in my book he looks a fit+strong healthy dog.

I guess a lot depends on how often you work your dog and it's diet..   A dog can run on empty as long as it has fat reserves to draw it's energy from. If you work your dog often and for extended pe

i agree i dont see why you should giv a running dog any supplements before a nights lamping it should be fit and ready, maybe near the end off the night after some hard runs. but thats just my opinion

as i tried earlier in the post about mag box ,whats the secret behind them?

It relaxes muscles, releives cramp etc. basicly just lyk elecctric impulses masaging ur dog. Good for injurys, nerves and stuff. I only know what i've been told but most coursing lads swear by them because you will get that bit extra out of the dog when its starting to cramp up and stuff. I've got 1 with the treatment head but just need to get round to geting a box and a board nocked up.

food is down all day for my dog as he is a grazer he has his raw meat in the day he also has pasta fish and eggs and bones when he gets back at night he helps his self cos the food is allways there

If i left food infront of myn constantly i'd have a £100 a week food bill and a dog the size of a rotty. Constantly on the mooch for food, even 2 seconds after being fed.
