my pup is in the 20th day of her 1st season and has for the last few days decided that she didnt want to eat. i tried her on a different food and this worked for a while, but she will never eat all her usual amount. she is a retriever, so this is something special! i dont know whether or not it is related to it, but she has ripped out a patch of fur on her tail, near the base and has rubbed it raw. i have been cleaning it with salted water and tried some germaline, but as far as i can tell, it hasnt improved. any ideas? i wormed and de-flead her the other day. any help would be much appreciated, as i dont want to waste any vets valuble time.

cheers, matt

The only way you will find out whats causing the problem is to take the dog to a vet, you cant expect people to be able to diagnosis & give out treatment advice
