ferreting at the beach

yeah true mate i walk my dogs down there a lot a few years ago i went ferreting down there with whin on this site we got 8 from the middel warns nd the pikeys were down ther as they had set up camp and they tryd to buy whins dogs of him nd that :L

Aye,nicked his dogs about 6yrs ago now,and they got nicked back,

Went oot for an hour or so at the beach,not been for a few years but used to be good numbers,the main warrens are right in amongst the main car park and as it was quite busy, decided to do the wee warrens close to the waterline with less peeps aboot.

Not much action,one 1/2 grown which the pup held but not damaged so let it go for another day and one 3/4 grown in the bag for the ferrets.Not a brilliant outing but more education for the pup,

they look like nice big purse nets you have there- does a bigger net help to make sure the whole body of the rabbit is caught and the back end doesnt hang out? thanks

they look big in the photos mate but they are the three ft ones, bigger ones come in handy though for the well used larger holes,

Aye,ferrets were a bit jumpy yesterday,they,ve been fine when i,ve had them oot before so don,t know what was wrong,just one of those days,

we were out weith whin ferreting at about 10 am and half an hour later we had 6 rabbits the the pigs came and started looking in his ban nd he shoute hoy nd they came over and said we have had a report that use are badger digging

Thats typical of around that area,, lots of weel to do nosy fekers driving along the coast road,, one reason I don`t go there anymore,, not worth the hassle.

 

Was down at whins the other day and had a good day out,, get him to take you down there KX much better time to be had !!
