Danner boots ??

Hi Lads i need some advise on these boots, im looking at getting some new boots ive had meindl boots for the last 4 years and loved them now im in the states i cant get hold of the easily so i've been looking at some danner boots they need to be 400 gram insulated. But the key factors them needing to be warm and water proof but they also need to take a hammering from digging and hard wearing are these boot up for that wear? Anyone who has experiance with these boots i'd very much appriciate it. Or how are la crosse boot any one had them ? Thanks!

I've fround some meindl boots over here i've always had the meindl chainsaw boots and used them for every thing but the steel toe caps are no good in the cold weather in the states.
