sunny 14
They say you always lose the best ones well this dog was just that, i lost him four weeks ago whilst he was chasing a rabbit. He struck just before the rabbit hit cover what he didnt realise was there was a tree stump at the other side, luckily (if there can be such a thing in these situations )it was instant and wouldn't have known anything. He was just coming into his prime, only 3 years and 6 months of age. I still cant belive hes not here anymore and am truely gutted. I got a pup 5 months previous to take the work load of him, the pups now only 7 months old so still no were near ready but hes taking my mind of things trianing him up. R.I.P CHARLIE forever missed! pic at bottom is the pup Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
Sorry to hear that mate. I suppose you've gotta look at the positives, it was instant and he wouldn't of known about it. And you've got the pup to concentrate on. Gutted for you. I dread the same happening to me. Quote Link to post
ReggieCuz 18
I feel for you, pal. I lost a great dog/mate to a boar in Oz about 10 years ago. He was just unlucky, doing what he did best but got cooped up between a tree and the boar. I cried like a teenage girl. Quote Link to post
