k99yle 53
That's fantastic new's mate. Happy day's Never cryed before over good news. Well i did today. My dad has been waiting on some results to tell us wether he had cancer or not.... Beleive me the last 3 weeks have been hell, and not been able to think about much else, it has dragged like feck... Today he texted me at 11.45am... And said, all is good, its clear, [bANNED TEXT] a relief.... I didnt realise just how much it meant to me, till i read those words... couldnt help myself, i was so glad, not for me but him.... He is a very active man for his age, who travels the world mountaineering, and it would have broke him i think...He is one of the most famous monroe baggers (a term for scottish mountains over 3000) their is, and now he can carry on... None of us wanted to see him suffer, and we know if he dies climbing mountains he died happy...... thanks.

Mastiff 7
Know how you feel mate, My dad was diagnosed with cancer last Christmas, had surgery and all the chemotherapy, thought he'd had it to be honest. Strong bugger that he is got the all clear three weeks ago, I shed a few tears at both events. Tell your Dad to take pics of every Munroe he climbs from now on and post them up on a hope section on here, too many people hear about cancer and just give up. ATB to you and your Dad, Mick.
