minion 29
I work for myself. I have a small heating company who carry out boiler installations. I love being my own boss and am really glad I gave it a go. If you are looking to get into a trade I would really recommend becoming a heating engineer if you are looking to retrain. It is expensive and hard to get your gas ticket if you are a new entrant to the trade but it is possible. If you work hard you can make a really good living.

It's something I would like to get into and have mean meaning to look into but we have just been crazy busy for the past two years fitting gas boilers, I hope to become involved with renewables as the government are really pushing them and it is a growing market. I also intend on doing LPG as it means more work in rural areas and no bloody parking tickets in Edinburgh!!
