Tyla 3,179
Im fed up with work, im a chippy, spend an hour each way in the van, never ending money on tools, parking etc, work in town and the money is not even that good anymore. Im thinking of retraining or at least changing the kind of work i do to something more rural that fits my lifestyle better. So im looking for ideas. I trained and worked as a keeper years ago but not too keen on that or pest control. Dont want to mix up my passion with my job. What do you do, or wish you did, and advantages and disadvantages please?

OldNog 432
i was a keeper but now work for a property developer doing alsorts of building work. Retraining or chaninging to something rural wont give you more time to get out and about though, agricultural jobs ect mean longer hours and usually worse pay! Just my opionion. I moved from keepering to what im doing now because i started really disliking shooting and vermin control so i quit and got into something totallt different to keep my hobbys completly seperaete from my work
br4568hldrs 16
I'm an infanteer, pays ok, good security for my family and have seen most of the world but really need a change. Get paid to be outdoors, be fit and shoot, but its not as fun as it used to be now its a two way range! As soon as I'm back from afgan I'm on the mouch for a new carrier but needs to be outdoors and allow me to stil go shooting and work my dog, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated, as long as I had enough money to put a roof over my familys head and food on the table I would be the hardest grafter you ever employed!
