chainspot's?

Recommended Posts

anyone ever keep lurchers on a chainspot?

ever had any problems in doing so?

thinking i might put my lurchers on chain's next summer and if they take to it keep them on them.

would just be easier i think.

Cant see the point unless you havent got proper secure kennels mate, different if dogs are loose or yard dogs.

if you put the chain in the right area (just common sense not to put it in reach of a fence or tree)its safer than a kennel imo i have done this before (and am doing it now) just not with lurchers.

only ever done it with a tougher more robust type of dog so im not sure how my lurchers will fare, suppose theres only one way to find out.

you've made your mind up what your doing, why post it on here :whistling:

ps i wouldn't even consider a chain and my reasons for that...

1) as someone had said in-case it decide's to hang itself

2) i believe the noise of the constant jingle of the chain would drive it mad

3) there is no need as there is enough space for a pen... so put the computer down for half a day and make one :wallbash:

1)unless your a f****n idiot and dont build it properly the dog cannot hang itself

2) :icon_eek: nothing more to add there lol

3)they wont move onto them until next summer,be a bit pointless making them now wouldnt it?

the question really is to people who have tried it;are your lurchers robust enough to live like this?

Unless your a f****n idiot and either can't afford or can't be ars*d to build a one as i really can't see ANY benefits of sticking your mutt on a chain ..........

What is your reason for wanting to chain it please do enlighten me
