A Dig to Jack

Had a dig today (to Jack), brother to my young dog (Scent) who had his 2nd dig last week. It was Jack's turn. Went to ground around 11am, was in 5 mins when a red flash shot out from a bunch of dead leaves, followed by the dog! Enter the dog again, was travelling and settled in one spot that read 1.3 on the box. Gave him 10 mins to see if he would shift. We started digging just to make sure he wasn't barking on the scent of the one that bolted. Being a young dog and only his 3rd dig we thought it better to make sure as its not a habit that you want a young dog picking up. Need not have worried, dug down to find him mixing with a large and very healthy dog fox.

Thanks lad's a dog is only as good as his last dig you know how it goes.They're only young dog's so time will tell, they seem to be going the right direction for us anyway which is a good start, will keep ye posted on their progress.
