i like him mate, breeding him to a greyhound bitch would be the choice i would make too :thumbs-up: ... but each to their own!! another season of work wouldnt do him any harm.... and by that time you will have worthy greyhound bitch to put him to, i would do plenty of lookin around cuz not all greyhounds that are stars on the track are good in the field when it comes to pre ban foxes etc :) ... thats my thoughts on it :hmm:

Might be a nice dog, it might of done a bit of work, but he certainly isnt in working condition in that photo. Have you got any pictures of him working? What type of work does he do? Would like to see him out in the field in fit condition.

i think the dog works as a hoover in a local pork pie factory :drink:

And i think ur dogs heads too small and the rest of him is built like a hyeena!!! at 16 month the dog hasnt had much time to prove himself, but if he has the correct drive now hes always gunna have the correct drive give the guy a break stop being a bunch of knobs!!!! good luck to you [bANNED TEXT] at the end of the day theres dicks breeding stuff out there when all they have is crap anyhow!!! they just think they have everything when what they really want is a good cull in the kennels!!!! might be best to let him get a couple of seasons work under his belt then breed him. he isnt fully mature by any standards yet. just wonderd why you want to breed him so early in his life aswell? if its just for money you are on a hiding to nothing, if its so you can get a pup out of him let him do a bit of growing up so he can realise his full potential. looks like he will be able to do whats asked of him when the time comes! good luck with him :)

and since when has the size of the dogs head accounted for how many rabbits the dog has caught. as i say a dog at 16 month old has not proved its self and i will stand by that. but hey arnt hyeenas fast ay lol

done loads at 16 months? Personally in my opinion i would give a dog a good few seasons to prove itself as a worker before breeding ANY dog ..But thats just my opinion.

This is the reason too many dogs are culled/unwanted due to unproven backyard breeding

But if you think hes upto it - good luck.

that dog looks just like one i saw at york hunt on boxingday is it the same dog ??????and like people say mate he might be doing well .and i must admitt he looks well ..even better with a bit more work.... but hes hardly proven no matter how many hes had .....at least another couple of seaons before you get a provern dog ........and they will be better pups and stronger in another couple of seasons ......

Gary 30 fox is alot for one dog in one season, if that dog had caught that many it would be much fitter than it is
if its the same dog i saw at york i was talking to the fella who owned it he was in his late forties ..iam not sure if it is .but it looked a bit fitter than that...and if it is he said it had twenty fox but i think most of them were drawn ..not actually coarsed ...but iam not 100% if it is ... :hmm: .. iwould like to no ..thats maybe his lad ...he was a nice chap i spent an hour or so talking to him ..iam sure he said it was 16 months old aswell....smart dog tho ...very smart....its bugging me now ..i need to no.. :D:D

 im a bit confused !! why will the pups be better and stronger in a couple of seasons??whats time got to do with it if this dog turns out to be world class or not the pups will still be bred from the same lines. or am i missing something???? :hmm:

Yeah that is true snoop, but if the dog turns out to be shit then the odds of the pups being decent dogs become even lower. There is enuff of a gamble when it comes to breeding working dogs with out making the gamble even bigger and breeding from unproven stuff.
