hw100sniper 2
This fox had been a thorn in our side for a few weeks now but with the 243 I felt last night would be my night .He always bolted as soon as the lamp went on him or if further out would just slink into the night .Last night however he bolted but made the mistake of thinking he was safe about 170yds away and stopped to look back for a split second but thats all I needed ,just as he started to turn his head to move off again I sent 1 of my 100 gr bullets his way. This is how I found him Just as I thought the 243 wasnt going to be that good I turned him over After that the weather beat us so it was an early night then up early to help on a mates shoot beating and picking up. hw100sniper 2
Nice shooting Billy. I take it you are liking the .243 as a calibre. Yeah Dave im really taking to it the only problem is that because of the time of year the parks are sodden so I can only access 1 of the fiels I use as a range which is only good for a 100yd range where as my other 1 is good for about 300yd,but I suppose I would buy a rifle at this time of year Quote Link to post
