Bulldog rabbiting spade

I have been meaning to get one for a while now but being a long pocketed bugger I'm searching for the cheapest place. I want a bulldog for the quality just wondering if anyone knows where I can get a bargain. cheapest I have seen is £35 for an ash handled one.

a decent spades a decent spade. thats why i want a bulldog there tough as f*ck don't fancy breaking another spade when i need it most. best getting one that will do me for the rest of me life. still don't fancy getting ripped off though.

buy a grafter an cut an shape the nose yaself

 

i use an all metal newcastle draining spade

Look on amazon mate, under draper, they do a decent ash handled round mouth good size, and blade head is like a smaller verion of the bulldogs.

 

So really no need to cut or modify them.

And its got kick plates on as well.

See what erik on here uses, you will pay top dollar, but they should lasta lifetime.

But for the price the draper is a good one for rabbiting.

Thats what i use 'Dotty'.... bought mine many moons ago off a Cable laying gang for a Tenner...... Took it into work and cut it down a bit
