What you know about dogs could be written on a postage stamp and still leave room for you to sign your name. The malx are cracking dogs, take some beating on big quarry and can scoop up rabbits no problem. I wouldn't expect them to take too many hares though, not on big land at least.

 

Dans got the right idea. I'd go for a pup out of the two best running dogs you can find doing the job you want your dog to do. Who gives a toss about the breeds in it.

I'd be happy with the dogs i own now but would quite like a collie/grey x saluki/grey in the future for when the bans are lifted or a saluki/grey x bull/grey.

It's the same with all xs of lurchers not all make the grade I used to keep bull x greyhounds and didn't make the grade on the lamp but were good daytime dogs I personally don't rate bullxgreyhounds cause I ain't had a positive experience with em but other people sware by them

Whats up mate, you seem all grouchy.... can i give you a wee bit of photography advice lol.... your rule of thirds in your avator photo.... the dog should be in the left third of the photo..... always have the subject looking/moving towards the largest part of the photo.......

Seriously though, if the ban was lifted it would still only be legal for those with permission. There were no more "cowboys" before the ban than after and I'm sure most of us have done a little freelancing in the past.
