out with sam and ferrets

went out this morning for a couple of hours as my site is shut due to the high ,so no work for me! took my 15month old lurcher and three jills with me, iv just picked up a new bit of permition so thought id have a look round. found a lovely little earth to work, the ferrets worked like little demons and bolted quite a few all at once, sam held one in the net while i cleared another, really should have set up the long net as i lost a few in the hedge as it was a bit to close to the berrys. i wont make that mistake again! caught four, was so pleased with sams listening and marking he is learning real fast now and loves every bit of it. great couple of hours ferreting you cant beat it!!
