No Camera

Out today for the last patrol of the year with two members of this forum and dropped on a treat

 

Dug two,bolted one and where was the Ferkin Camera in someone's house :whistle:

 

Now i never pretend to be the greatest digger in the world,in fact i look at it as more of a spectators sport and as i had the gun today, so i did just that :icon_redface:As my partners ventured toward middle Earth,and got down past the 6' mark, i began to piece together this article in my head,good day out,good company,dogs working well,decent dig,DECENT PHOTO'S.

 

As the intrepid duo gathered momentum, to the now hollow sound of an immminent breakthrough, a burst of leaves signalled a certain "Lady in Red" leaving early,only to be rolled over by BB's and the corus of the tethered terriers showing they're approval of expert marksmanship :whistle:

 

This was followed by those immortal words,and stance to go with them, "I've bost through",which meant more excertion for me as i had to pull the trigger again and despatch the poor sod who wasn't getting his end away tonight

 

Now you have to picture the Scene,two dead reds under an old Oak on New Years eve, a hole,not large but large enough, 6 and a bit more feet.Some decent dogs,some reasonable people out protecting game birds and a damn good photo opportunity and no Ferkin camera

 

Still,very enjoyable........oh and as for the second dig, have you ever noticed how folk scratch like chickens when you only have to go 2 foot :whistle: :whistle:

Hello i know the feeling but i normally have my mobile it has a 3.2megapic cam on it but you covered the day well in your thread i got the picture any way.It would have been nice to see the pic's but you were thare & have the memorie to keep & shared with friend's too.
