So I've been striving to get my dogs retrieve right for the past few months, had some problems in the beggining also had problems with him at home when I'm at work, I especialy had a few isues this week, so I thought I'm gonna get a new lamp go and see my permisions and start lamping ( after all that was the reason I got a dog) the lamp arrived today so out I have been,

So got to my permisions, got the dog out n entered my first field, result 3 rabbits nicely out in the field so lamp off n creep a bit closer, a nice run but no luck, saw 2 more at the edge in a bit of scrub, missed this one by a foot, on to the next field n another set of rabbits out over this crest, loosed him, a good run bit it ended with him hitting the sheep fence, called him in n thank god he was ok, so onward we went, next run turns n all sorts but sadly no catch, to the next lot he picked up the rabbit in his sights n he set if with such ditermination, he disapeared in to the dark chasin this rabbit a way off, fearing the worst I made my way down the field, lamp on calling n scanning, so not like my dog to Disappear, so I scanned the field and finaly picked out his eyes n I could see something else, yes a bloody rabbit!!!!!!!! Couldn't bellieve my eyes, he retrieved it straight to me , this was the first rabbit he has ever caught on the lamp n really one of the best things ever, I'm so very happy, big thanks to my mate Ol for the advise and training support n had some great help off a chap off here called cooper. Well hopeing all you lads starting out have the same reward as me. Untill next time!!!
