Goats around Inverness

Does anyone know of any goats around the Inverness area as a couple of us are stalking up that way in the new year and want to combine a trip ?.

Not exactly Inverness area (though not too far away) and I'm not sure if they'll let you shoot them, but there are plenty on the Isle of Rum!

And tell him what you're after. He might be able to organise something. The goats are a pest on the NNR, and I think there is a planned cull so he might be able to help you. Fantastic place to shoot too!

 

If you don't get a reply pm me and I'll have an ask, know the SNH head stalker pretty well (I worked with him for a year) so might be able to organise something.

I've seen plenty round the Slochd area, try some of the estates there?

there are loads around sheil bridge, kintail area. Big Arab owned estate there so not sure if you can shoot them, But they are usually around teh road at this time of year

i have lived in inverness all my days and have never heard of goat shooting up here.

i will ask around some friends of the shooting/hunting sort. get back to you if i can find out anything!

not wrong there. i climbed up that fecker,the path is a dodgy one and i see quite a few goat.
