As for playing golf It's as addictive as crack! Got a lot of none hunting mates and my brother who play, as soon as they start their hooked, never shut up about it. Me, ain't got the time nor the inclination, if i'm gonna spend a day waking in wide open spaces i'll make sure i got a dog with me.. Life's too fecking short! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

gnasher16 30,441 Posted November 14, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 14, 2010 Well...had my first round of golf today,what a carry on ....apart from the fact i was absolutely useless the 2 fellas i played with were a pair of boring b*****ds and even the chat was shit i couldnt wait to get home,needless to say i,ll be straight back in the gym tomorrow,the " old mans interests " are going to have to wait a while id rather die doing what i love than live doing something that bores me to tears In all fairness im sure its a great game once your into it.....just dont think im quite ready yet.....anyone want some golf gear Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Next time, assuming there is a next time, try and play with someone of around the same standard if you can. There is nothing worse than trying to keep up with someone who is hitting it miles past you. Another tip, if you find yourself in trouble, don't go for that impossible shot through that small, very small gap between the trees. Chip it back on the fairway and start again.
