Recommended Posts

ive been working terriers, shooting, used to ferret and lamp a particular estate for at least 17yrs and thought i knew it like the rear of my hand..

however,we had a shoot there today and for a change i was asked to run a line of beaters up a hedge which has NEVER had so much as a mouse hole but id be fecked if it didnt have 6 different spots, all drawn and well padded.

it just goes to show,i will be there thursday and walking the other quiet spots that have never shown.

happy days!!

Just happenend to me the other week mate.......was picking up on a duck drive when i went into a little bit of wood. Noticed a freshly opened up hole littered with duck wings... :wallbash:

Told the under-keeper and he wouldn't believe me until i showed him......never been 1 in that wood before seemingly. Funnily enough it was directly behind his high-seat too.........

almost always find a spot in a place you would never imagine.

had a litter last year under a shed in a keepers garden and next to his kennels.

good luck on thursday, hope the earths hold for you, heres a pic of a little earth i was asked to look at for a lady who was getting abit pissed of with charlie making a mess in her garden, she put a slab over the entrance and the f****r made 2 new ones on either side of the slab , its in a built up area with afew kids living next door to her aswell, it had also had a couple of good runs going to it from under her fence to the neighbors gardens, like you said they can be in places you wouldnt think of, atb
