It makes me sad when everything on this forum descends into an argument. Both Nobo and Strong Stuff make amazing collars but 2 different kinds. Some people prefer webbing and some prefer leather so your customers probably don't overlap too much.

 

Now over the years I have forums and communities die because of people fighting over everything. The antis are organised and united, we slag each other off at every opportunity. Friendly banter is great but save the abuse and fighting for your real enemies not the people that believe in the same things as you.

If nothing else you make the rest of us seem like twats and that's not fair.

well said scalesntails, like I said i asked nobbo about strong stuff before, and he more or less said if you want webbing collars to goto strong stuff , reading the posts bullmat is trying his hardest to stir shit up, and I cant understand why on earth strongstuff would slag of a different product?

I have had strong stuff and nobo's collar's and are both good strong collar in there own right.

Nobo has also said to me befor that if he was wanting a webbing collar strong stuff is were to shop.Never once has he slagged his work to me.

As you can see from the pic that the D ring is no were near the buckle and i use this collar day in day out...i also will say there is no way these collar would give way under the power of a strong dog.

As i said both good strong collar and we should be surpporting both lads as all the gear is British made and thats got to be a good thing.

Both collars used regular and holding up to the day to day punishment frown at them....would shop with both of them and recomend both in the future.

Thanks lads Strong stuff the day we meet i wonted to shack your hand for making great collars i even told you so, i had a walk around the show and went and got a few collars out of the van to show you my work as i thought that you mite appropriate it being a collar maker your self, how wrong was i, as soon as you seen them your mood changed and not for the best as scalesntails has said no competition here i make top end leather collars not webbing, i have even told people who wonted my work for there young dogs to by a collar off you for there dogs to save them money and to come back to me when there dog has reached a age when they ant going to grow any more or out of there leather collar, some have come back to me some ant but they all thanked me for saving them money as for slagging me and my work off on your site there was just know need you ant seen no slagging on mine i just let my work speck for it self, works of art it has been could be collar collators, artist and breed historians so i would not say that its shit not bad for a self tort lad from the gospel est in Acocks Green as Anubis as said we both make all of are work from British made products and we both need surpporting as it is hard out there for all of us not just collar makers but ever one if ever we meet up at a show you never know we mite have a pint well you never know keep on making you cracking collars A T B Mick

The prices Nobo is charging for his collars is in no way expensive, for that type of best leather, and the work that goes into them. I am doing some leather-work myself and know the cost of quality leather, and time involved. I think they are fantastic work Nobo

Also Strong Stuff is doing great collars,- but both types are so different.

I have the same sentiment ... the quality of both makers is very apparant ....... Shake hands and move on would be a cracking start to a new year
