back shooting after a few months

went out for a litle sesion yesterday morning and arived at my shoot about 8am hoping to pop a few rabits in the next couple of hours. so i ventured up the feild through about 6 inches of mud and cow s**t to a oak tree positiond in a bush about 35 meters away from the waren. so if anything desided to take a strole out side i could take it for my diner but that was the problem. it turned 10am and i was geting picked up at half past so thought id take a look in a slightly more wooded area. i enterd sat down and waited hoping that a pigeon would land but no. sudenly in the corner of my eye a squirel run up a tree about 3 meters away from me and paused about half way up so i lay back hw77 in hand placed the cross hairs a milldot under his eye then 'CRACK'. i watched the pelet storm through its eye and the squiral acrobaticaly jump off the 10meter board thumping the ground. quickly picking it up i made my way back to the oak tree where i had left some stuff i noticed a squiral siting at the top of the tree emidiatly reloading and drawing the scope to my eye i saw it scury to hide reviling a heart and lung shot which i rapidly exicuted and returnd to my dad who was already planing what to make for dinner.
