Awsome reply Collie :notworthy:

Come off it Andy, I for one enjoyed the read :yes:

Okay; Some people don't put it across as well as others do in a write up; but take a bit of time to read it and it's a good read :thumbs:

Its fantastic that more people are taking the time out to do the write ups rather than just put up pix :yes:

PS Collie, the only stupid questions are the ones that you don't ask, we have all been at the start and had to learn at some point.

I'd have been very gratefull if someone had taught me to shoot properly and answered my questions that I had all those years ago

Ask away buddy :D

OK then, fair play.

If the lad's been vouched for then fair enough, it's just after the fiasco of some of the earlier posts forgive me for being a little sceptical. :thumbs:

I guess being an old fart makes me forget that I was 14 too once upon a time, so fair do's.

Keep at it, Collie but keep it real, OK? Nothing to prove on here...

Cheers. :thumbs:

:laugh::laugh: Yes, Tony, it was!!!

I'm off to get my Vic's, then staggering off bedwards via my Stana Stairlift, then going to cuddle my hot water bottle while watching hardcore porn as a good old wank always helps me sleep as it's been two hundered and thirty five years since I've really seen a naked woman!!! :laugh:

Hang on.... Only some of that was made up.... :blink::blink:

Well-shot Collie lad.

So, you're a youngster of 14. Well, we've all been 14 and said and done some stupid stuff along the way..and been forgiven for it. So young fella, no more playing silly buggers with people who have been honest and respectful to you, okay?. You've been soundly found out, as all fools do, and laughed at for being the village idiot.

But, you haven't slinked off like a low coward and you have made your apology. Fair play indeed. That's good enough for a second chance from me and I'm keen to see a young lad encouraged to learn to shoot responsibly ... :thumbs:

Now, do you have a head net? Your face is the one part of you that is always exposed, and in woodland or against hedgerows, our skintones can really stand out and give us away to ever-watchful quarry like squirrel. A headnet is like a lightweight cammouflaged balaclava, it covers your head and most your face but has a slit for your eyes, obviously, and it works very effectively at keeping your face hidden. Get one of these, they don't cost much, and next time you go out where there's a good chance of squirrel, or legitimate birds such as woodies crows and magpies get it on your head and get yourself into a comfy sit-down position by a tree and keep yourself still like you are part of the landscape. Wait a while, be very patient, then, if nothing's happening, move slowly on to another position. That should help you get a bit more sport out of your hunting day. I use one pretty much all my hunting time and I've been amazed how close animals like deer and badger, as well as rabbits and squirrels have popped out in front of my position without seeing me. :thumbs
