These are the people that this is aimed at. I think it should deffo happen because just the thought of having to clear up rubbish, clean graffiti, etc etc will be enough for these people to start looking and going to interviews. I don`t see why i should go out to work doing a job i hate in a factoy to keep a roof over my head when there are lazy ***** free loading off the backs off us workers. But no doubt the labour left wingers will put the kibosh on this idea to try and win votes back. Just my bit. fozzy Fozzy doesn't see why he should work in a factory, and doing a job he hates to keep a roof over his family's head. (I'm assumimg you do work). Everybody is individual, different circumstances. You shouldn't compare with what others are doing. Behaviour breeds behaviour, and if our young ones see and hear daddy and mummy say feck that i'm not working because others are not, and getting their money off the dole, then they will see this as normal behaviour and join that never ending que of pointless people. It was drummed into me at an early age to work and not judge other people. I've always worked, be it in a factory, office or outside. A job is a job, and I for one will not claim money off the dole if I did not have a GOOD genuine reason. I just wouldn't sleep at night. Yes Artic i do work, and hard too, although some people might argue that fact. My point is that i would rather be doing a keepering job, but there aint any about so i have to do anotehr job that i`m not really happy about doing, but i do it because it`s a job and pays a wage. There are people out there that won`t work unless they get the job they want because they have so many degrees and a manual job is below them and there are people whom have been brought up in a family that haven`t worked so they see that as a way of life. fozzy Quote Link to post Share on other sites
terrierjohn 49 Posted November 9, 2010 Report Share Posted November 9, 2010 not eveyone on benefits are lazy b@sterds i have to say i have top marks in highers experience in allsorts of trades dyking building landscaping fencing gamekeeping i even worked on a canal doing boat movement and im up early every morning looking for a job sending around 5 application forms a day advertising myself for work on this site gumtree and others and still iam unemployed and i hate it the biggest problem is incomers refugees asylum seekers whatever you choose to call them they come here and work for pennies and make it really hard for decent ppl to get a job granted there are lazy junky b@sterds that just wont work but you cant judge everyone one on benefits as spongeing c**ts Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The powers that be would never want to see full employment, imagine if there were say, 6 jobs for every potential worker, you would be able to name your price ! but what is more likely, is that they would import cheap labour, as they do now. This country needs the unemployed to function. The system relies on the fact that workers can't just walk if they're not satisfied, there is nowhere to walk to ! How else are bosses going to keep wages down for the minions. Scarcity of jobs is what keeps all these people in low paid jobs that they hate. In fact if full employment was ever reached, they would probably import the unemployed , just to keep us on our toes. This hate campaign they've got going against the unemployed and making them work for their benefits is just maintaining the status quo, it's just to appease us. Imagine the interview, "I've not worked for five years but I've picked litter for four weeks" that's going to get the job for sure ! not. ribb 15 Posted November 9, 2010 Report Share Posted November 9, 2010 just watched that clip and all hes saying is you could lose your benifit if you refuse but what he doesn't tell anybody is that when push comes to shove yes we'll stop your benifit,you'll apply for hardship allowance,which you'll then recieve because it's against the law for them to leave people with no money to live on so all in the most we can do is sanction their benifit, reduce the amount of money we would be paying by 20%,1/5 about 2quid a day and even at that you can get the chance to appeal the sanction an opportunity to go to a tribunal,make up a story tell a pile of lies and bang you get any money you lost back.its a no brainer,there are worse things out there than dole scroungers,its good work if you can get it,take it from someone with 40years experience. p.s. i don't believe that an honest man exists Quote Link to post Share on other sites

BIG ENOUGH TO GROW A HELL OF A LOT OF VEG FOR THE TABLE ...... YET WAS JUST USED AS A MIDDEN ....... I MIGHT JUST TAKE MY CAMERA TOMORROW AND SHOW YOU THE TYPE OF PLACE I DEAL WITH DAILY .... MAYBE ITS COLOURED MY VIEWS A LITTLE ONE OTHER POINT I FORGOT TO MAKE IS ....... IDLENESS IN YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN LEADS TO DEPRESSION , BOREDEM ETC .... WHICH AS IVE SEEN OVER THE YRS CAN OFTEN LEAD TO ALCOHOLISUM AND DRUG DEPENDANCY THEIR DAYS ALL ROLL INTO ONE .... MONDAY COULD BE A FRIDAY .. IT MATTERS NOT ! , ONE DAYS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE NEXT , THEY HAVENT MUCH TO LOOK FORWARD TO IF THEY HAVE NO HOBBIES ...... AND...... THEY LOOSE ANY FEELING OF SELF WORTH , A BIT OF TOUGH LOVE AS ANY PARENT KNOWS IS OFTEN CALLED FOR ....... MAYBE THIS GOVERMENT PROJECT WILL BE JUST THAT ? DUCKWING It's a sad reflection on the state of the country for every 1 person who tries hard to make their life better theres probably 5 who will screw the system for whatever they can........sad but true. I've got a 3 yr old and a 4 yr old they already understand if they don't tidy up their toys after themselves then they don't get sweets or any kind of reward,its maybe that sense of pride you was talking about earlier in the thread that I try to instill in my kids.I was never given anything growing up I saved all my paper-round money for months when I was 14 to buy my own lurcher and I'd like to think I've taken them same principles into adult life. What people have forgoten is society does not belong to the government, WE ARE THE SOCIETY! In the old days people would have let others know what was acceptable and if someone was a lazy scrounging b*****d then he would have been ostracized by his peers. Same as if a teenage unmarried mum got pregnant, if there was a war and someone would'nt fight. It would have been tough but it kept things in a natural order, you can often hear old folk say they could leave there doors unlocked without a problem, this was why. How broken are those communities up north like Rotherham, where a child can be passed about by a bunch of pakis without hindrance. Fourty years ago they would have been lynched! The decent majority need to stand together and let it be known what is not acceptable, fu.ck waiting for the police, peeping out the edge of your curtains. I have a cousin, he is about 45 and has probably worked about 2 years of his life, has 4 children raised on benefits. I would bet they are on benefits now too and there is never a shortage of work in my area. I would cross the road to avoid him, never fell out with him but just don't think he deserves the my time as well as my hard earned tax money. I know things are tough in other parts of the country but we all know the ones who have avoided every opportunity to get off there lazy arses and stop being parasites leaching off hard working, decent people. readie 184 Posted November 10, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 10, 2010 i started this thread and never replied until now,ive worked from 14 yrs of age,signed on twice in my lifetime nearly 50 now.ive held up to 3 jobs at a time ie clamping then off landscaping and at weekend working for securicor retail security,everything i own ive worked for.theres people that live around me same age give or take a few yrs that have never worked and relied on state handouts all there lives and think there entitled to handouts.i cant wait until there called up to actually do a weeks work starting at 0730 hrs they dont surface until after dinner most days. You have rose tinted glasses on, there were problems in the past same as there are now, signs like No Blacks No Dogs No Irish were prevalent then in the uk too.....as for the long term unemployed not working, what a pr stunt, compare what they cost us in comparison to illegal immigrants who claim asylum, have lengthy court cases to avoid deportation and then disappear to work illegally...in bet it pales in comparison... This is all a cheap PR stunt in the new labour style...all hyphe no substance....If Cameron expects the uk taxpayer to believe him he needs to shut he doors first, clean out the country of illegals and bogus aslyum seekers and then start on those conditioned to live on benefits. Illegals are a big problem and should be treated hard, this government is making a start on that. Just because you have a problem with one part of society doesn't mean you have to ignore another part which is a problem. To me lazy feckless scroungers are every bit as big a problem and offer nothing to society, they breed more of there type and will eventually sink the country, if we don't force them to make a few right choices.
