hilly 6
Now that I have my Fac to get a high powered air rifle I have a Logun s16 mk1 to sell. Anyone have an idea what these are worth nowadays??? And also anyone give me any advice on what rifle to go for next, I'm after a multi shot and not to pricey. Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
Hi Hilly. Air Arms 410 EXTRA. Air Arms S400 EXTRA are very nice and among the most cost-effective. I know of a shooter who uses an AA 410 FAC EXTRA which is superbly accurate and reliable at 30+ft/lbs but, there are less shots per fill of course. Theoben Rapid series, some Daystates are good at FAC level, BSA, perhaps. Be very, very careful if you look to possibly buying a second hand FAC airgun and establish good, genuine, non-technical reasons why the owner is selling. Higher muzzle energy is no replacement for serviceable reliabillity. I don't want to sound sarcastic but, you could of course look to buy a really sweet .22 rimfire or 17HMR for a lot less money than a high performance air rifle. I know that's not the object of the excersise, but, I would, if costs were a serious consideration. I shoot a pair of FAC tuned Weihrauch HW80 spring rifles at just under 20ft/lbs and they are really all I need if higher performance be needed. Really lovely to shoot but.. It's still a top level of shooter accuracy and fieldcraft that puts game in the bag..or not! Good luck wih your search. ATB Simon Quote Link to post

Hi Hilly If its FAC i would go for one with a 500cc cylinder for the extra shots per fill, theoben or daystate for me. Quote Link to post

ATB Simon I tried for my sgc and fac for a .22 rimmy but the inspector said I haven't had enough time out with a rimmy to have one but she gave me a high powered air rifle Thanks for all the replies lads I just have to sell the Logun now and save a bit to go with the cash to get a high powered one, but will look into all the rifles suggested.
