Ive done two bits like that and i would say give it a go ,feed your ferrets up pick a frosty morning and start early and stop early ,but if you need to dig get the spade out .Hopefully you will find like me because folk think its a bad job its not been ferreted before and the rabbits fly out and you get a good quick bag.

i would say if you are worried about them getting stuck to use hobs the bigger the better if they do kill they will be strong enough to move it out of the way. if a small jill gets stuck she wouldnt be able to move it.

Never knock a ferreting job back if the farmer sees how keen you are and you do it right it could lead to more better land

just do it ,at worst you will have to take he cenery in for a few hours,good luck mate.
