hunter1989 91 Posted November 6, 2010 Report Share Posted November 6, 2010 hi hunters i went at at 5.30 am this morning with Steve when we arrived at the cricket club there was one or two rabbits out,but we weren't there for the rabbits today we were cleaning the birds out,anyways after Steve building the hide,we waited and called a few jackdaws in and 2 landed about 45 yards away from us,i took aim and pulled the trigger he was down heart shot then later on Steve had a Maggie and squirrel but we didn't find the squirrel all in all not a bad 7 hours really we should of had a lo more but i think excitement took over here are a few pics atb steve Quote Link to post

Mikey. hi matey yh i agree with the magpies,also found where the squirrels hide now,so hopefully i will get a few more points with rossi also you said you were doing some bird shooting soon in your other thread,when you set the crows up put a egg there smashed,it seems to work down here,hopefully up there to atb steve Quote Link to post

rossi_j 99 Posted November 6, 2010 Report Share Posted November 6, 2010 I took that maggie stone dead, as soon as it hit the ground two jays were on it like a tramp on chips, i watched them through the scope for 5mins waiting for that perfect moment to let lead fly but it never came, just wouldent stop squarking and flaping for long enough to take the shot .
