marky b 309
theres one the warrener dvds brin he's called and what a little dog it shows him lamping ratting ferreting a good all rounder Whilst it may be a versitile little dog , and did put a good few bunnys in the bag in that film,, all those rabbits were cought on the wall banks they have in cornwall , dont think theres a single bunnys cought on the run, pesonly i thought the dog looked overweight in the film. maybe thats why as the other poster said it was better when owned by its original owner. dont get me wrong it did catch and thats the main thing , and i liked its retrive right back in to the motor but on faster ground no chance i know what you mean mate but i think with any terrier cross you've got to pick your ground wisely after all there mostly bred to kill in cover Quote Link to post

Tyla 3,179
My wife owns Parker, the dog Water Badger (cheers mate ) was referring to earlier, and he is the litter brother to the dog in the pic above. He is a good allround small lurcher, does everything a small lurcher should and a few things they shouldnt be able to! Im very pleased with him. Edited November 6, 2010 by Tyla Quote Link to post

Thats a great looking dog I'm seriously thinking about putting a whippet over my jack russel bitch, she's lon legged stands about 16" tts she's about 18 months old now and doing well ferreting and general mooching gonna wait till the end of the season then make a decision, but if the pups were to turn out like this one I'd be happy Quote Link to post

bunnys 1,228
these types when we bred them back yrs ago litters can be different from same parents but all turned out good little pot dogs and some little stunners do get produced having kept pure whipps and none registered whipps i would allways go for a well bred whirrier type for general pest controll in all types of weather and working on rough ground killing rats on tips waste sites they excell ferriting general country mans dog with low maintainance easy ta keep great little dogs Quote Link to post
