terrier man is it hook you dont like at all, or him playing fullback,,,, ?? would you sooner he was flyhalf or centre ??

hooks one of the best players in the world mate at 10 or 12 on his day then we go and play him at 15  whats even more anoying is were playing shanklin in the centre with bishop, even tho hooky plays in the centre with bishop every week for the ospreys, rediculouse if you ask me.

just winds me up mate he said in the paper hes leaving the ospreys if they dont play him at 10 :wallbash:

Understand what your saying terrierman but with Byrne out who we going to play at 15?Leigh Halfpenny is injured and Tom Prydie could play there but imo isn't experienced enough at International level at full back the only other one is Will Harries and he's on the wing.Much prefer a quality versatile player like Hook at 15 especially against the wallabies, his time has Wales 10 will come along Jones isn't going to be around at 10 much longer imo

Must admit im not much of a rugby fan, cant say i even know the rules completely :icon_redface: ....but im a sports fan and love to see the icons of worldwide sport.Im sacrificing watching my West Ham tomorrow to go to Twickenham ive always wanted to see the all blacks do the haka, its one of those true honest sporting traditions every sports fan must see.

From what im told we havent got much chance of winning, but really looking forward to the occasion anyway.

You should enjoy that Gnash. You'll be able to have a pint while you watch the game, and there should be a cracking atmosphere. I've sat in the crowd and in the pubs and had a laugh with opposition fans from Scotland & Ireland before now, before, during and after the game.

Yeah too true Johnny Boy,Danny Cipriani, what the fu#k happened there!?!?! Sleeping his way around Hollywood hahaha fair play but WTF?!? As some one else said on this post the game is changing everyone is the same shape/size no real room in the game anymore for the kicking game imo. Sad really

I wouldn't mourn the loss of the kicking game. It worked well for England for so long, they've become very one dimensional. They need to start concentrating on using their flair players more instead of reverting to type every time the game starts to look as if it's not going their way. IMO, England have stayed still since the 2003 RWC win.

New Zealand played the type of rugby in the Tri-Nations that all teams should aspire to imo  They've got argubly the best kicker in world rugby be it tactical kicking or place kicking, all through the tri-nations they hardly kicked it unless as a last resort. Its so refreshing to see the All Blacks playing this way they spread the ball quickly and with a purpose and they've even revived the crash ball, they play with so much variation its got to be so unsettling for teams when they don't know where the next attack is coming from.

After the debacle of the ELV's(experimental law variations)its great to see rugby being played with some semblance of how its meant to be played rather than being like a game of kicking tennis
