nehunter73 2
Had a run out to some of my permission today that i've had for the last few years. It's only a small bit of land so I only go a couple of times a year to it. Last season when I was out there did a bit of knocking and made a few phone calls to some of the farmers in the area but got the same response off them all " Thanks but no thanks." To my surprise today after going round last time some of the farmers had been checking up on me to find out who i was and where i was from. Long story short, the lad I've been going to the last few years had recommended me and as a result I've secured a lot of prize land with the promise of more to come if I do the job right as it's all his extended family who own the surrounding land. Just goes to show that by treating people with a bit of respect and doing your job properly just how many doors can be opened to you and never give up knocking coz you never know whats around the corner.
